With a lifelong passion for the written word, I have honed my writing skills across a variety of media throughout a career spanning twenty years.
Having worked in newspapers and magazines, radio, television, and online, and acquired full certification in Google’s Fundamentals of Digital Marketing, I have all the expertise needed to help you get your message across as clearly and crisply as possible.
As a journalist, editor, subeditor, and advertising executive, both full-time and freelance, I have worked for such newspapers as The Ulster Herald, The Tyrone Constitution, The Strabane Weekly News, The Dungannon Observer, The Strabane Herald, The Tyrone Herald, The Leinster Express, The Laois Nationalist, The Irish Sun and The Irish Times. I have also been a regional correspondent for RTE, reporting on local courts.
In the area of arts journalism, I was a correspondent for monthly dance music magazine BBM Magazine, and a contributor to the leading arts and cultural website, Culture Northern Ireland.
On radio, I have worked with BBC Northern Ireland and Q Radio, and on television I did production work with Mint Productions for BBC NI.
My enthusiasm for writing naturally extends into my personal life too. As well as being longlisted for the Fish Publishing Short Story Prize and Short Memoir Prize, I am currently working on writing and illustrating my first children’s book, to share my love of the written word with younger readers.
