I Before E gets a massive A star!

I cannot recommend Ryan highly enough! I am so impressed with the way he put together a very important press release for me, as well as a bio and shorter social media post. He asked me all the right questions and put together a fantastic write up!

I was so busy at the time making the National museum pieces and knew I wanted something really professional and engaging, not only for me, but my new client!

Ryan put across my personality, my business, background and experience so much better than I could have. He took the time to do research on the company and made the whole thing so impressive.

I’m so excited to be able to work with him again, as I know how important it is to not only do the work that I’m doing, but also to let people and other prospective customers know what I have achieved!

I Before E gets a massive A star from me!

Concise, accurate and dependable

Ryan Dunne has been submitting editorial copy to the Laois Nationalist newspaper on a freelance basis, supplying copy from the local district and circuit court sittings, as well as supplying copy from local authority meetings.

His expertise and knowledge in these areas always guarantees his copy is clean, concise, and more importantly accurate.

Ryan always reaches the deadlines that are given to him, which means he is extremely dependable.

I am happy to continue using Ryan's services as a freelance journalist and I would highly recommend I Before E to any company or outlet that is considering availing of his service.

Strong understanding of client needs

The Community Education Service in Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board (LOETB) used the services of Ryan at I Before E for the Plain English editing of two forms that contained very detailed and complicated language.

Using a clear and concise style he made the documents easy to read while ensuring that all relevant details were included.

Ryan took the time to analyse the documents thoroughly, double checking the facts and seeking clarification where necessary to produce professional, user-friendly forms. With an excellent command of Plain English editing, he made complex official forms more accessible.

I would recommend Ryan at I Before E for any editing and proofreading service, as he demonstrates a strong understanding of the client’s needs.

Efficient and meticulous

I used I Before E to assist with the proofreading and formatting of the final version of my thesis. Ryan provided a very efficient and meticulous service reviewing all the content, highlighting repetitions, typos, and referencing issues throughout the thesis. He also formatted the work as per the university guidelines given to him. I would highly recommend his services to anyone needing to have their work reviewed.

Creative writing is wonderfully enjoyable

Our class of nine is a mixed bunch of young and old, women and men and everyone in between, with varying backgrounds and experiences. Ryan encourages us to draw on our life lessons to create original stories which are real and relatable. Ryan compares creative writing to art; it is subjective and while you think you are telling one story the reader may be reading another. And that’s the beauty of creative writing: the reader is being led by their imagination.

Dialogue is an essential component of creative writing and Ryan has trained us on the technique of slowing down and listening to people around us, whether it is your family or strangers on a bus. He has shown us how to listen not only to the surface words but search for the hidden ones too, because there is always a deeper meaning.

This creative writing class is wonderfully enjoyable. It has been such a success that Ryan will be back to do more classes.

Brilliantly written story

This is a brilliantly written story: highly original, fluent, witty and insightful. It’s a worthy topic – not often broached.

What stands out here is the imaginative creation of the “evil orange penguin” and the many ways it wreaks havoc in this man’s head. The creature is a credible and suitably repugnant manifestation of an obsession.

The observations of the family are consistently sharp, darkly funny and entertaining. It’s an accomplished piece. Well done. I love this story.
